What is Boomi?

Our mission is to empower people to find a balance between city living and sustainability. We do so by challenging consumers to re-think about their daily practices in the wake of urbanization.

Boomi is a company with a sustainable mission. They provide high quality products, and try to make a difference one person at a time. I highly recommend their toothbrush for anyone who loves a soft bristle brush and wants to help the environment.

What I like about Boomi is their focus on education. They are creating a whole experience that teaches how to be sustainable in the city. I love their film screenings and seeing them at markets, promoting a zero-waste lifestyle.
I love my boomi toothbrush and shampoo! The toothbrush is comfortable to hold + really gentle on my gums. The shampoo is a total winner after trying multiple brands for so long, my hair is stronger and voluminous and I only wash every 3-4 days
Super love the shampoo bar. At first I was bit skeptical about shampoo bar, but I love it now. It's super easy to use, gentle to my hair and smells so nice too!

I am so excited to bring Boomi's products as a present to the kids in my family back home. Not only they are sustainable but also they are fully reliable and safe.
Student @ Bocconi University
I hadn't looked into sustainable products before, always simply assuming that they would be less effective. However, a close friend recommended Boomi to me, and I tried the shampoo bar. Although skeptical at first considering my 'hagrid hair' and the exemption from conditioning, I was so pleasantly surprised! Sustainability and effectiveness go hand in hand with Boomi, so why not save the planet and look good whilst doing so!

My boomi shampoo saved me in China! Not only is it eco-friendly and well-priced, but it’s also one of the rare shampoos sold in China that’s sulfate free! A sulfate free shampoo makes all hair treatments last longer and your hair feel rich and healthy. Their different perfumes are a huge plus too, Boomi shampoo is the bomb 💣

I've followed Boomi's development since it first launched. It is amazing what Emmanuel and Miguel have done, and their products really do make living sustainably easy. All I know is that I buy a box from Boomi, and a part of my life is more eco-friendly. 100% would recommend.

Being part of Boomi was a wakeup call that challenges her to rethink her impact in her immediate community. Her goal is to inspire and encourage people to adjust to an ecological lifestyle.

Angie graduated from Pelita Harapan University, Indonesia in 2018. Previously, living sustainably never really crossed her mind. However, as she started to learn about the horrors of plastic pollution, she started to realize the true impact of her lifestyle to the planet.
What's so bad about Plastic?
We produce around 300 million tons of plastic each year globally! Only 10% of that is recycled. What is even more frightening, around 8 million tons of that plastic is going into our oceans every single year. That is equivalent to 53,333 Blue Whales!
One of the biggest issues with plastic is that it will never biodegrade, even in 1000 years. But instead, it will degrade into smaller pieces called "micro-plastics." According to recent estimates, there are anywhere between 93,000 to 236,000 metric tons of micro-plastic floating in our oceans. These particles are often ingested by smaller fishes, which then are eaten by bigger fish, and eventually, are fished and turn into our dinner. Therefore, in reality, we are the ones eating the plastics.
We hope that the Boomi Pouch can be a reminder to you that "Plastic is not Fantastic" but that YOU are FANTASTIC because you are continuously saying NO to Plastics!
